The most basic skills to have in a finance resume is the analytical skill.  An analytical skill enables you to work effectively in whatever financial role you find yourself.  Most employers require analytical skills in their employees.  Another important skill to have is computer literacy.  Everyday there are more innovations in the information world and so you need to possess computer skills.  Good computer skills enable you to perform your financial tasks effectively and with ease.  Employers also want you to possess leadership skills.  Leadership skills prove that you are a go- getter, a person who is innovative and thus will be a great asset to the company.

A good finance resume should highlight all your unique skills which make you stand out.  You need to show potential employers that you would be a valuable addition to their company.  You should put all your skills.
